The SMAC combines the depth and tradition of Chinese martial arts with the intensity and modern training techniques of MMA to work towards the common goals of fitness, health and personal excellence.
We utilize a modern, scientific understanding of the human body and state-of-the-art training equipment fused with traditional, time-tested training methods.
We are a safe, friendly, and family-oriented school. We utilize light contact sparring with appropriate protective gear. "Aliveness" is taught with practical application in mind. Nothing we do is for show; everything has intent.
We are not affiliated with the Shaolin Monastery in China; however, we do teach, study and practice forms of training that have been passed down as part of the Shaolin tradition for hundreds of years.
Using Shaolin philosophy, we have developed an integrated and comprehensive school of training which provides all the essential ingredients for anyone to become a master of Shaolin Kung Fu or a master of life.
We are not a religious organization; however, we do use Taoist, Confucian and Buddhist principles to explain the traditions behind the arts we teach.
